Our Story
Founded in Harare in 2024, TasteTrail emerged from a simple observation: while the food on our plates was evolving rapidly, the software powering the restaurants serving that food was stuck in the past. Long wait times, disjointed communication, and a lack of personalized service were the norm, even at high-end establishments.
Our founding team of software engineers and former restaurateurs set out to build an Operating System (OS) specifically designed for the modern hospitality landscape. An OS that doesn't just process transactions, but actively optimizes floor plans, predicts diner preferences, and connects people through shared culinary experiences.

Today, TasteTrail powers hundreds of premium dining venues across Africa and beyond. We are the invisible engine driving higher turn rates, deeper customer loyalty, and ultimately, better food.
